I cannot see how to get whether a nick is voiced/opped currently in a given channel in the twisted IRC framework. I see methhods of changing modes, but not querying. Can this be easily done?

This information is made available as part of the name list response. An op'd user has their name prefixed with "@". A voiced user has the "+" prefix.

So I need to do a /names each time I want to check if someone is voiced? That seems rather inefficient. I suppose it is also in any privmsg from them, but I don't see a way to get that from irc_PRIVMSG. I guess I can rewrite that...
