[Twisted-Python] Man Pages Project

As twisted's Debian maintainer, it bothers me greately that there are no man pages. I've started to write manpages for some of the utilities, available in doc/man/*.1. Please help me, and write a manpage for a utility today. I am strongly considering to package only things in bin/ with a manpage for twisted 0.9.5 Here is the list of utilities with a man page so far: faucet gnusto mktap twistd Here is the list of utilities without a man page malyon im mapeditor runtests twistd-debug Thanks for your co-operation -- Moshe Zadka - http://moshez.geek (if you're not cool, http://moshez.org is still working)

Yeah, I've been thinking that these (except for runtests) might be removed from the standard distribution too, actually...

runtests doesn't run, becuase pyunit is packaged differently in twisted and Debian.
Your manpage work is done.
Ship it. :)
Any date on .5? -- Moshe Zadka - http://moshez.geek (if you're not cool, http://moshez.org is still working)

Yep. Shouldn't be in the package.
Ship it. :)

Chris Armstrong is (should be!) working on a PB interaction tool, which Kevin Turner has cleverly (though tentatively) named "Manhole". I'd like to see that become marginally useful before pushing out a new v.; however, this next update will mostly be documentation. If Chris's stuff isn't ready within the next 3 days I'll push without it. Travis also mentioned that he wants to do some updates to twisted.web; I'll wait on those as well if they're going to be out within the next 3 days. ______ __ __ _____ _ _ | ____ | \_/ |_____] |_____| |_____| |_____ | | | | @ t w i s t e d m a t r i x . c o m http://twistedmatrix.com/users/glyph
