In general, no. We'd prefer it if you looked at the documentation and FAQ available on the website before you ask questions. If your question is *not* answered by the documentation, then please feel free to ask it here, or on #twisted. Hope this helps, jml

This would be a really good start: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0596100329/sr=8-1/qid=1151200014/ ref=pd_bbs_1/002-1540570-6626468?ie=UTF8 (if that link doesn't work, it's a book called Twisted Network Programming Essentials by Abe Fettig) =) Daniel On Jun 24, 2006, at 5:04 PM, The Wiz wrote:

Yes! These tutorials are really quite good. If you have the time and inclination, working through the "Twisted from Scratch" tutorial is very useful. Also, I found the section "High-level Twisted" to be another good starting place. http://twistedmatrix.com/projects/core/documentation/howto/index.html

Well I'm just another user like yourself, but most of these basic questions are answered on the Twisted wiki <http://twistedmatrix.com/
and in those tutorials I mentioned. Twisted has great documentation. Try that first.
