Hi all, If nothing else needs to go in 3.0a3, now that selectors and artio spatial are in, I'm keen to roll a release as soon as I can get some notebooks written up about it. Before that, I'll do one final merge from 2.x and push that to the repo. If I don't hear an objection by Tuesday or so, I'll roll out 3.0a3 and add a few more alpha releases to the YTEP. -Matt

Hi all, Just wanted to let you know that the selector_generalize and artio_spatial changes have been pushed to the main yt-3.0 repository. This includes Doug's work on generalizing and cleaning up the selector code, as well as reducing some duplicated code there, as well as the work I've done on getting spatial data selection for ARTIO.
