There have already been a pretty large amount of changes in that branch
without answer testing. I think merging this won’t add too much more work
in a marginal sense. It would probably be good to work on merging yt-4.0
with master after this goes in.

I've got a PR that removes py2 compat code:

I'm wondering if we had come to a decision on what was required for it to go in. Are we going to block on getting answer testing re-enabled? Or is passing the unit tests sufficient?
