Difference between the fields "Mach" and "MachNumber"

Dear all, In one of my user defined field, I have to do a multiplication with Mach number. I found that, I can use both * data["Mach"]* and *data["MachNumber"]. *What is the difference between "Mach" and "MachNumber". Thank you -- Reju Sam John

Hi Reju, "Mach" is the shock mach number found during runtime of an Enzo simulation. "MachNumber" is ratio of the local fluid velocity to the sound speed. Hope that helps. Sam On Tue, Aug 19, 2014 at 12:18 PM, Reju Sam John <rejusamjohn@gmail.com> wrote:
