Hi folks,

So I was originally in favor of keeping pmods, because we used it for "extreme scale imports" but now I think it's something we should ship out to external packagers. The time of the "import problem" being dominant in workflows *and requiring a yt-hosted solution* is not really around anymore and I think if we still need this functionality we need to outsource to another package or packaging solution.
