reminder: yt 2.3 release set for 15 December 2011
Hi all, Just a reminder that yt-2.3 is set to be released on 15 December. There are still some open tickets remaining: https://bitbucket.org/yt_analysis/yt/issues?status=new&status=open&milestone=2.3 all concerning documentation. Also, perhaps we should have another google+ hangout soon to discuss what remains and any roadblocks. Let me know if you're interested, and we'll try to set up a time. thanks, jeff
Hi Jeff,
Sorry for such a delayed response. I think another hangout would be useful
towards the end of this week or beginning of next. I'm working on my
tickets today, and there are only a handful of docs tickets left at this
point, covered by you, Matt, Britton, and myself.
How would people feel about having an semi-organized code sprint Friday,
with a follow up hangout Monday or Tuesday? I think just blocking out some
time with each other to dedicate to finishing this stuff up is about all we
need.
Thoughts?

Hi Sam,
Sure, sounds good. I will be on vacation next week, but Friday works for me.

Jeff and Sam,
Thanks for keeping this thread alive. I think a small sprint Friday would
be a good idea. Maybe we could do a hangout just before the sprint to
coordinate what to do.

Hi all,
The sprint is on. I plan on essentially working on my tickets until they
are done, starting sometime in the morning tomorrow (let's say 9am MST).
Since we have a spread in time zones, I think we'll hold off on a hangout.
If people are around in the morning and want to hangout we can set one up
at that time. Really the only thing we need to do at this point is close
all of the doc tickets.
See you in IRC tomorrow!

Hi all,
Tomorrow's the release. I've put up a preliminary build of the 2.3
docs. If you have any corrections / changes / etc, issue a pull
request. Sam or I will make sure all the pull requests are cleared
before build+release.
Changelog: http://yt-project.org/docs/2.3/reference/changelog.html
Thanks for all your hard work, everybody!
