I've posted a first draft of a style guide on wave:

I'd appreciate comments. Feel free to reply below the wave or edit inline, but I think this is a good first draft. There's quite a bit of code that I wrote a while back that does not adhere to this, and part of the reorganization effort (which keeps getting delayed, although I think it is going to very rapidly gain momentum in the near future) will be to increase consistency with this.
