Fwd: [Discuss] second call: 21st Century science
I imagine someone here might have something to contribute.

I'd like to put together a page on the web site to show people how we actually do 21st Century science. I'd like each entry to be an image showing something like an IPython Notebook you're particularly proud of, something that R Studio or knitr has produced, a collaboratively-edited paper hosted on GitHub, or pretty much anything else you think our learners ought to be building toward, plus a paragraph or two of text highlighting the key idea (kind of like a more concrete complement to http://software-carpentry.org/pages/testimonials.html). If you'd like to contribute something, please mail me directly and I'll start assembling things.
We've had a handful of entries so far, and I'd welcome more - please ping me if you have something you'd like us to showcase for you.
