Dear yt users, I just updated yt to 4.0.1 and now I get this error message when trying to run enzo-mrp-music.py from John Wise on https://github.com/jwise77/enzo-mrp-music. ANN: Virtual short-form course on using yt the week of April 10, 2023

Hi all, I'm writing to announce that the week of April 10, we'll have a short-form course streamed online on how to use yt. It will be live broadcast through Twitch and later uploaded to YouTube for on-demand viewing. The presentations will be staggered across several different times-of-day to accommodate viewers in different time zones and will initially cover materials drawn from the "yt Quickstart" notebooks, building to an in-depth exploration of a dataset. Each day will include time for Q&A and interactive discussions. The times for the workshop will be: - Monday, April 10: 12:00-14:00 CDT / 17:00-19:00 UTC - Tuesday the 11th: 8:30-10:30 CDT / 13:30-15:30 UTC - Wednesday the 12th, 15:00-17:00 CDT / 20:00-22:00 UTC - Thursday the 13th, 11:00-13:00 CDT / 16:00-18:00 UTC In the days leading up to the workshop I will post here with more information about joining the live stream, as well as a rough breakdown of what topics will be covered on which days. Unable to use annotate_contour

Hi, everyone, I have tried to use the function annotate_contour after SlicePlot. Unfortunately, the program ends up with no error info (see the output below) and without output figures. When I move the annotate_contour part out and keep SlicePlot, there are output SlicePlot figures. Besides, my YT version is 4.0.5 Any suggestions will be appreciated! Export projection plots to ASCII

Hi everyone, I have some density-weighted projection plots that I would like to export as ASCII. More specifically, I would like to export the x, y, and z positions and at each of those positions values for gas energy, density, and the 9 primordial species for example. I see there is a way to generate a 2d profile and then export that to a QTable but I am not sure that's what I'm looking for. I also can't get the script to work as it returns "ValueError: zero-size array to reduction operation minimum which has no identity " when trying to use: profile2d = source.profile( [ ("gas", "density"), ("gas", "temperature"), ], # the x bin field # the y bin field [("gas", "cell_mass")], # the profile field weight_field=None, ) Is there any method for what I'm trying to look for?
