ds.index

right after ds=yt.load ? If that fixes it, then I think the solution will be to make sure the fields have been instantiated before any quantities get called.

However, the last line throws the error: 'FLASHDataset' object has no attribute 'field_info' .

As a test, I ran

ds.field_info["flash", "temp"]

which gives the same error.

Can anyone give me any advice on what's going on and how to get past this error?
