This appears to be an issue with conda:l that popped up in the past 24
hours or so.

Unfortunately we do not have control over conda and I can’t tell you how
long it will take to release a fix.
If Stampede has a python module that has pip, you could install yt with
“pip install —user yt”.
Hopefully the issue with conda will be fixed soon.

Hi yt community,
I am trying to install yt on Stampede2. I did
$ wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/yt-project/yt/master/doc/install_script.sh
I made the following changes: INST_YT_SOURCE=1, INST_PY3=0, INST_SCIPY=1, INST_ASTROPY=1
$ bash install_script.sh
