Can you try completely removing the IPython folder in /u/stonnes/Installs/yt-x86_64/lib/python2.7/site-packages/, then `pip uninstall ipython`, then `pip install ipython` one more time.IPython no longer imports from IPython.frontend in recent releases of IPython, so you still have some old files sticking around.-Nathan
