Hi Munier,

You should be able to complete the install after setting INST_OMQ in the install script to zero.  I'm away from my computer so I can't check if that's the right variable, but it's something like that.  Since this library is needed by the ipython notebook, you will not be able to use it for now.

In the long run we should figure out how to bundle the UUID library or failing that contact the TACC sysadmins about setting up a yt module.
