Yes, sorry, I've been quite distracted recently (moved institute, thesis to write, etc). Not sure when I'll have time to look at this properly, but hopefully in the next couple of months if you guys still need another pair of hands. As for cosmological simulations, one possible test is that all the units are 1.0 in non-cosmological runs (see amr/units.f90 in the ramses source). Not sure if there's a more elegant test. Hi Rok,
I've pushed a fix to the tip for this; however, even after running a couple test problems in RAMSES, I was unable to determine how to definitively identify cosmological simulations from non-cosmological simulations. I've therefore set this parameter to always be on.
Please note that there are still issues with the RAMSES reader, and it may behave unexpectedly. Sam Geen, Oliver Hahn and I have been working on them, but it has been a bit slow going the last little while. If you have any specific suggestions or ways we could improve, we would definitely be interested in hearing them.
Thanks very much,
Matt

trying to read a RAMSES output from a cosmological zoom simulation, I get the following perplexing error:

this clearly is a cosmological simulation with the relevant parameters specified in the info*.txt file - is something else needed?
Thanks,
Rok
