I am new on this list and testing the functionality of the library. 

The purpose of the python script attached is to visualize the output of SPH simulations. 

There seems to be a special interpolation type for SPH to mesh interpolation, 

but how should the script be modified to allow this to be done in the function yt_plot ?

A second question is if it is possible to add magnetic fields for SPH particle data, so that

magnetic field directions, magnetic field strength etc.  can be visualized.
