Actually, as I'm playing around with it, it seems that I cannot change the x
value of the second point. I'm getting strange slanted lines; I've posted an
image below. Also, I'm using 2 as my axis, if this makes any sort of
difference at all.

Note that the arguments to the image_line callback are in the image plane: p1 and p2 are (px, py) and (px, py), which assumes that you have the image plane x, y figured out (you can use x_dict and y_dict to get this info.)
