Hello, I'm looking at changing the units for my density field from g/cm^2 to solar masses/pc^3. I tried using set_unit but that gave me an error saying it couldn't change from one to the other. I'm using Enzo 2.5 and yt 3.5.0 for visualisation. Many thanks Andy
Is this on a projection plot? The reason you can’t change between those particular units is because they have different dimensions. You can, however, change g/cm^2 to solar masses / pc^2.

You could also use a weight field when you do your projection. A weighted projection is a weighted average while an unweighted projection is a line integral and so they have different dimensions. On Sun, Mar 24, 2019 at 1:58 PM John ZuHone <jzuhone@gmail.com> wrote:

Ah okay thank you both. I have stuck with slice plot for now but I will try these out at a later time. Many thanks On Sun, 24 Mar 2019, 20:03 Nathan Goldbaum, <nathan12343@gmail.com> wrote:
