will yt 2.6 analysis scripts works for yt 3.0 ?
Dear All, My yt version is --- Version = 2.6.1 Changeset = c7bae05dd4ef --- If I update it to 3.0 with the command: yt update --all , will my old analysis scripts(written for 2.6 ) works? Thank you. -- Reju Sam John
Hi Reju, The analysis scripts you used with yt 2.6.1 are going to need to change a little bit to work in yt 3.0. The biggest difference is how fields are named. For example, "Density" has become ("gas", "density"). There is a whole page in the documentation devoted to the differences between yt-2.x and yt-3.0. http://yt-project.org/docs/3.0/yt3differences.html I recommend checking that out. If you find something that is not covered, please let us know! Britton On Mon, Aug 11, 2014 at 7:35 AM, Reju Sam John <rejusamjohn@gmail.com> wrote:
