Hi, if I do sp["ParticleMassMsun"], are the masses in Msun/h or Msun? Thanks! _______________________________________________________ sskory@physics.ucsd.edu o__ Stephen Skory http://physics.ucsd.edu/~sskory/ _.>/ _Graduate Student ________________________________(_)_\(_)_______________

Hi Stephen, ParticleMass (and thus ParticleMassMsun) is calculated by taking the particle[_]mass field and multiplying by the conversion for cm^3 for the volume of the cells in which the particles reside, and then multiplying by the conversion to proper density. If it were using "cmh" it should give back Msun/h. So, it should be Msun, not Msun/h. -Matt On Thu, Mar 12, 2009 at 3:06 PM, Stephen Skory <stephenskory@yahoo.com> wrote:
