Hi Cynthia, It looks like yt will only plot the lines in the same figure if the profiles have the same field for the y axis. Otherwise, they will be in separate images as you're getting. I don't have a good sense of what the "proper" behavior should be, but if there is support for changing this so that profiles with common x fields are plotted together, we could probably do it.
