Dear yt-users, I have a vtk data file that I scp-ed onto my macbook from a supercomputer. On the supercomputer when I run this: p=yt.SlicePlot(ds,"z", "velocity_z", origin="native") p.annotate_quiver('velocity_x', 'velocity_y') on yt, I get the full picture, but when I run yt on my laptop with the same commands on the same data file, I get a fraction of the picture. Is there any reason for this? And is there anything I can do to get the same picture? Thank You, Jasmin
Are you using the same version of yt on the cluster and on your laptop? You
can tell by checking the output of "yt version" on the command line.

Yes, version 3.3.1 on both.

Can I safely assume this was made with Athena? If it’s a parallel run, you should take care that all of the files were copied over from the machine, because if they weren’t, this is exactly the sort of thing that would happen.

Yup! It was made with Athena, and it is a parallel run. I will try copy
all the files over and see what happens.
