hi there, trying to read a RAMSES output from a cosmological zoom simulation, I get the following perplexing error:

Hi Rok, I've pushed a fix to the tip for this; however, even after running a couple test problems in RAMSES, I was unable to determine how to definitively identify cosmological simulations from non-cosmological simulations. I've therefore set this parameter to always be on. Please note that there are still issues with the RAMSES reader, and it may behave unexpectedly. Sam Geen, Oliver Hahn and I have been working on them, but it has been a bit slow going the last little while. New subject: reading RAMSES files - missing cosmological_simulation flag?

Yes, sorry, I've been quite distracted recently (moved institute, thesis to write, etc). Not sure when I'll have time to look at this properly, but hopefully in the next couple of months if you guys still need another pair of hands. As for cosmological simulations, one possible test is that all the units are 1.0 in non-cosmological runs (see amr/units.f90 in the ramses source). Not sure if there's a more elegant test. hi matt, thanks for the fix! works better now. Another issue - unless I'm somehow reading this wrong - is that the redshift is interpreted incorrectly (or rather, it appears that redshift and expansion factor have been swapped): yt : [INFO ] 2011-08-05 17:17:14,961 Parameters: current_redshift = 0.499963102849 but:
