Most or even *all* of the docs have removed plot collection, so I think we're getting there on that front. And, despite my poorly worded subject, I am proposing we remove it from *3.0* before releasing 3.0. So if you continue to use the 2.X branch, which will not really go away for some time, you should be okay. But yes, I think education is a huge component of this -- and something we need to ensure we address across the board. -Matt

Yeah I noticed it gone from the cookbooks etc, but when I did a search for 'plotcollection' I can still find the API references etc, but that's probably because the doc is 2.X not 3.0.
