yes I redownloaded Forthon, and did everything under "Fortran kD Tree Setup" section. The thing is that I just tried the same script and it would run on Triton, which leads me to believe something is wrong with my python installation... have you seen something like this before? (I was trying to put mpi4py on my laptop and ran into a brick wall so I gave up) From G.S.
