Web videos of Python-related lectures are great for showing at user 
groups when no one has had time to put together a presentation.  The 
forthcoming user group resources page ought to have a prominently 
posted link to a list of online videos. Here is the list I've been 
putting together:

Also, your posting prompted me to search for Alex Martelli on Google 
video and I noticed he has a new two-part lectures on Python design 
patterns.
