[python-advocacy] Python banner glitch

Howdy,

I exported python-logo-inkscape.svg to EPS and sent it to my printer.
They sent back a PDF with the shadow under the logo rather different from
the SVG:
http://pythoncraft.com/python_Banner_ai.pdf

I get the same result when I export to PS in Inkscape and run ps2pdf.
Should I care about this? If yes, I'll need someone with more graphics
experience to help me. (Yes, I know that supposedly Illustrator can
import the SVG directly, but my printer isn't familiar with that
functionality, so I need an AI, EPS, or PDF file.)

(I'm thinking that for a banner, having the shadow be more visible might
actually be better, but if I can get a proper shadow I'll use that to
maintain marketing consistency.)
