[AstroPy] Practical Python for Astronomers web tutorial

Wow, thanks for all the pointers. It will take me a while to parse it all,
but I think I have a general idea of which direction to go. Some quick
comments/responses:

- They will all have Intel Macs running 10.5 or 10.6.

- I really like the idea of doing a non-Scisoft related Pyraf installation.

shouldn't they be exposed to the manual installation process?


During an 8 week program where we want them to get some science done to
present at AAS? No, I don't think so. Especially if they don't have to. I'd
really, *really* rather they struggle with something else...like the
interpretation of their data.
