I have demoed modeling using wakari and ipython notebook. It had (probably still has) astropy 0.2
but I uploaded modeling as a standalone package. It was very easy and fast to set up.

On a related note, I just received an email advertising the ability to create and distribute custom environments for Wakari (which is basically a cloud-hosted python environment you use from the browser: http://continuum.io/blog/introducing-bundles).

I haven't yet found Wakari compelling for personal use, but I could see it being a nice way to run demos, especially those that rely on non-trivial installs.

cheers,
chris
