[AstroPy] Some Feedbacks about Astropy

My concern is that Xie's method has some rotation/translation
constraints. As a pure-Python tool it might be interesting vs. one of
the large packages like IRAF. But doesn't
montage_wrapper.wrappers.mosaic(background_match=True) do registration?
