[AstroPy] Python code for reading STSDAS table files?

Does anyone know of any Python code for reading STSDAS table files (in their
native binary format)?

(Obviously there are STSDAS tools for generating FITS and text-file tables from
STSDAS tables, but I was wondering if there was a way to read the STSDAS
tables directly.)
