Hi all,

Megan Sosey is leading a workshop at the AAS winter meeting (with a
number of other Astropy developers) on "Using Python for Astronomical
Data Analysis". The workshop is all day (8:30AM-5PM) on Tuesday, 3
January 2017 and will involve quite a bit of hands-on exercises and
development.

Many people have registered for the event (awesome!), so it would be
great to have a team of volunteers to help wander the room and answer
questions. If you are planning to be in Grapevine on Tuesday, are
familiar with Python, Astropy, Conda environments, or even if you just
use Python in your everyday workflow and are willing to volunteer for
the day, please let us know! Megan is CC'd on this email.

Thanks!
- Adrian
(Astropy community engagement coordinator for conferences)
