Congratulations are in order to the nation of India for their space mission
(Chandrayaan-1) orbiting the moon that today dropped a probe onto the surface.
It took 25-minutes to fall and is the first Indian-built object to reach the
surface. That is a cool achievement very few nations have attained! Another
great step in opening up space to all of Mankind.

The announcement came out of the Indian Space Research Organization in
Bangalore. There are some interesting photographs on the ISRO website. The
Chandrayaan-1 satellite, with ten additional payloads of a kind different from
the one dropped, will remain in orbit mapping the terrain.

A job well done!
(It is unknown whether Python was running onboard ;-)
