That's too harsh.  But there might be a kernel of truth in there, or
it wouldn't have rankled anyone.  Maybe if someone has found out
enough to locate a mailing list and post to it, we should just answer
their questions and tell them how to go about things in the future.  I
shouldn't talk, since I usually just ignore mails that are irritating,
but if you care enough to reply, you might as well get your message
across, and being snide isn't the way to go about that. :)
