[BangPypers] google app engine and python

I am very interested in developing applications for google app engine.
 Python and Java are currently supported languages.
Has anyone created apps for this platform yet?  Which Bangalore
companies will accept outsourced development projects for app engine
using Python?
I would be interested in any freelancers too.
