I also suggest using Pinax as a reference sake only. I had to use Pinax for
one of the projects
a few months back and God! I really hated the integrations, coupling and
overriding. Then I started
using Pinax for reference sake only and started using/copying the best
things in Pinax into my
project code and life is simpler again.
