Please do not do that when you are presenting things as code, or
at least say what you mean.

Not completely. How is your desired sort order of
[ *"alAN"*, "aLaN", "aLAn", "AlaN", "AlAn", "ALan", "alaN", "alAn",
"aLan", "Alan" ]
defined? I cannot see a logic to the order.
