[Baypiggies] 3-D graphics?

Wow, thank you everyone for all the suggestions.
But, would you all please give me one obviously correct way to do this?

I'm going to start with visual python ala Stephen's suggestion, just because it would be a nice thing for me to be familiar with anyway.
