Oh. yeah.  I suspect JJ was following my observation that Usenet votes
usually published the e-mail addresses of how people voted so that
they can be sure they were tallied correctly (as was useful in one
case here). With a reliable on-line survey/vote pages, this may no
longer be necessary.

For web pages where I've had to publish contact info, I've gone to
using "(at)" in place of "@", just to slow down the spammers without
annoying the daylights out of more naive readers.
