[Baypiggies] where to go for Python contractors?

A friend in SF asked where he should go to find someone to write some
screenscraping code for a Chinese Flash website.  I realized I had no
idea where to point him.  Can anyone recommend some good contract
houses?  So I don't get caught flat-footed by questions like this in the
future?  Where would you point people?  oDesk?  guru.com?  Is there a
good local house?

Any insight would be appreciated.
