Talk Details
1. Introduction to Pandas
One of the most frequently asked and difficult questions to answer in higher education is: Where do our students go after? Luckily the National Student Clearinghouse provides a transactional enrollment file. I will go over how to use built-in Pandas functions to clean and reduce the file to make it workable. A repository containing sample code for the talk is available at [https://github.com/Rlopezra/NSC-Student-Tracker-Reduction-Script.](https://meet.meetup.com/wf/click?upn=pEEcc35imY7Cq0tG1vyTt1xwBgNrAUWctUJxCTTawh-2BM8N0GyeK-2FOtqCg9CQR1eT8mk8o8OvjC8OHGv73fHa2hHCOBpofef-2BEReBCVKzXGQ-3D_wjYtrJMGvGKemIr8gzZnYyaHVpiAFWxROKXA-2FxjDyFq2JFbXTeuHIkFeeObiUujY3pGSMOYPmbjzU9KOY-2FII4USorm-2BBDfZs5KOehr1yObWAwGtEeErte-2Ff8Vcw8dujtR0QsZWfkTQqlwWz-2FjKAJXtlO2B1hEhrKVkMKKb3l81YaW84AA5Zki0bYIgGiqb6jojXmphGsuF4xcdhDzcMYAwZldoZeQxXf-2FnDtlgGTzS4-3D)

2. 10 tips and tricks to getting started in Python
In this talk I will cover some of the aspects of Python that have made it a popular language for teaching beginners. I promise it will be fun!
