Hi folks,

I am hiring for a senior QA test automation engineer for Business Wire:

I'm the Director of QA, and I've built a sophisticated end-to-end test
framework built on top of pytest. We have a complicated application
ecosystem, with a fairly complex product domain, so our automation requires
fairly advanced modeling for applications and business logic.

I spend at least 60% of my time daily writing code and extending the
framework to cover new apps and deepening our functional coverage as
multiple dev teams pump out new features. This role will focus on three
large asks:
1. back me up so somebody understands the code in case I get hit by a car,
and give me somebody to code review my code
2. write wrappers and models for new apps (page object models, endpoint
object models, advanced test data object models, etc.)
3. mentor my junior automators in python and test automation skills, and
help them write tests

To be successful in this role, you have to really understand python and
pytest, and you have to have a strong understanding of the test and QA
conceptual domains. You must have a drive to solve complex problems in code.
