[Borgbackup] BORG_CACHE_DIR with multiple backup copies

Hi,

Read all the docs thoroughly I think; sorry if this question has already
been addressed there.

Re: BORG_CACHE_DIR (default ~/.cache/borg). I am backing up a single
dataset to three separate external drives, each in weekly rotation (so each
media contains a full backup of the dataset.) Can they share a common
BORG_CACHE_DIR or should I define a different cache directory for each
external media?

I suppose another way to ask the question: does BORG_CACHE_DIR reflect the
content of the dataset being backed-up, or the the content of the media
being written to?

Many thanks for your help,
JimS
