What are the issues? AFAIK, the main issue is that two processes can not simultaneously access the repository. This forces you to run backup jobs sequentially, one at a time. You must store data in the same repository to avoid duplication.

IIRC, with the future release of borg 2.0, several clients will be able to access the repository simultaneously, but it has not yet been released.
