Travel Bytes is a world class leader in travel technology (21 years,
since 1995), and we are looking for a professional Developer to join our
team. Our development team is across the East Coast of Australia.
Are you really good at Python Development, have a good understanding of
software engineering patterns? We are looking for a strong developer to
extend our Google Cloud team specifically designing and writing cloud
endpoints/services in high transactional environments.
Our role is full time permanent position (38 hours/week), home office
based working in standard Australian Business Hours.
Pay: $80-85K/annum
Level: Developer (3-5 years experience)
Capabilities:
Design and develop of Python web/cloud services for high
transaction environment
Experience with large data models and enterprise scale data -
both Relational and Non-Relational
Development experience in Enterprise Software(C#)
Enterprise queueing systems and experience (RabbitMQ, MSMQ)
Commercial Javascript and Nodejs experience an advantage
Google Cloud and Google App Engine Python an advantage
Server side scripting languages an advantage (Powershell)
Unit Testing and System Testing planning, execution, and
documentation
Problem/issue identification, solving and follow up
Effective written and oral communication
Ability to read, understand and extend existing code-base
Qualities / Requirements:
The ability to work remotely, independently, and as part of a
fast paced but remote team.
Good communication skills both orally and written.
Reliable and consistent
