Don't think "one person building two packages", think "two people each
building the package on their system and then wanting to share it".  It
becomes real problematic if you are running an "almost stock" version of a
distribution...  I ran a 5.2 box with the latest GTK and the older glibc
for a long time -- I know something about this.  ;-)
