I would like to see such a service online. I assume it should be
possible to get it running on python.sf.net. If you talk to Thomas
Wouters, you may also get access to www.python.org.

I'd personally want to see the service in experimental mode for a few
weeks, and then, if all goes well, fully operational for production
use.
