Sprinting today at PyConCA:  we are seeing *super* slow installs today,
including taking many minutes (and failing) to install nose / coverage.

One sprint participant had heard a rumor that the Cheeseshop had "moved
into the cloud":  we are wondering if our issue is somehow connected.
