PythonChallenge is the closest thing I can think of.

It is nice in that it points you toward some of the things that Python does
really well, but sometimes the riddles can be frustrating when you are more
interested in learning how to use urilib than solving subtle word-play
puzzle . . . and both are required to move on the the next level.
